Our classic chocolate chip cookie, built for a glass of milk, and maybe a game or two of tower blocks!
Gluten Free + Allergy Friendly Chocolate Chip Cookie Dunkers
2/3 cup + 2 tablespoons coconut oil, softened, but not melted
1 cup sugar
6 tablespoons milk of choice
2 egg yolks or 1 egg replacer
2 teaspoons gluten-free vanilla extract
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
4 cups Hungry Harry's All-Purpose Flour Blend
1 cup dairy-free chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Using a hand mixer, stand mixer, or mixing bowl with a wooden spoon - mix the coconut oil with the sugar until soft and fluffy, about one minute. Add the egg yolk or replacer, milk, and vanilla. Mix until combined. Add the baking soda, baking powder, salt, and Hungry Harry's All-Purpose Flour Blend. Mix until combined. Add the dairy-free chocolate chips, and mix until combined.
Roll the dough into logs. They should be 1 inch wide by 3 inches long and 3/4 inch high. Place on a parchment lined sheet tray and press down to remove any rounded tops. Bake for 8 - 10 minutes, it will depend on the size. Make sure to turn them halfway through the baking process.

Note: Our chocolate chip dunker dough freezes well - we recommend freezing after rolling and shaping - so you can have a batch ready when the teenage "hungries" walk into the room!
