McCormick's Nature's Inspiration Food Coloring, yellow and blue
With a stand mixer or hand mixer, beat the coconut oil until light, fluffy, and smooth. Continue to beat and slowly add half of the powdered sugar, the vanilla, and half of the milk. Slowly add the remainder of the powdered sugar, and then the remainder of the milk.
Beat until completely smooth and lump-free.
To color TEAL for Food Allergy Awareness Week, use 2 parts blue to 1 part green.
Create a green color with 1/2 tsp yellow powder and 1/2 tsp blue powder and a few drops of water so it mixes well.
Add 1/2 tsp of green liquid to 1 teaspoon of dry blue powder, and add a few drops of water to mix well
Mix in to frosting and add in extra blue as needed.
Before icing, make sure your cake is completely cooled. Coconut oil melts easily and quickly, leaving a huge mess in your kitchen!
