Allergy Friendly + Gluten Free + Vegan - Scratch Chocolate Cake

This recipe uses Hungry Harry's All-Purpose Flour Blend instead of our Hungry Harry’s Chocolate Cake Mix as a base for one of our favorite chocolate cake recipes - ever!

Cook Time: 25 minutes
Total Time: 40 minutes
Makes: (2) 9" x 9" cakes, or 18 cupcakes.


2 cups granulated cane sugar
1/2 cup cocoa powder
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup oil of choice (we like rice bran)
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 teaspoons distilled white vinegar
2 cups milk of choice


Preheat your oven to 360°F. Grease two cake pans with your favorite oil. Combine the dry ingredients, then add the remainder of the ingredients.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Cool before frosting or decorating. This cake goes great with our Allergy-Friendly Chocolate Frosting.
