We love this slightly ‘grown-up’ approach on a date and orange bread! Rich flavors, soft texture, and of course allergy-friendly! This loaf is perfect anytime of year, especially when you’re searching for a quick, easy bake to bring to the table on the Holidays.
Gluten Free & Allergy Friendly Date + Orange Bread
Preheat your oven to 360°F. Grease a loaf pan with your favorite oil.
Remove the pits from the dates and place them in a small saucepan. Cover with water and simmer for 20 minutes.
Drain the water from the dates and puree in a food processor- you should have about 1 1/2 cups of date puree.
Combine all the wet ingredients in a large bowl.
Combine all dry ingredients in a separate bowl.
Fold the dry ingredients into the wet.
Pour the mixture into your prepared pan. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cool the loaf at room temperature.
Slice and serve!
