Allergy Friendly + Gluten Free + Vegan - Chocolate Cake

Our famous chocolate cake recipe, found on the back of every single Hungry Harry’s Chocolate Cake Mix. Frost it, top it, it won’t matter - you’ll finish the whole cake.

Cook Time: 25 minutes
Total Time: 40 minutes
Makes: (1) 9" x 13" cake or (2) 8" x 8" cakes, or 18 cupcakes.


2 eggs, or egg replacers
1 cup milk of choice
1/2 cup oil of choice (note: if using an oil that's solid at cool temperatures,
like coconut oil, melt the oil before beginning this recipe)
1 teaspoon gluten-free vanilla extract


Preheat your oven to 360°F. If using a cake pan, grease it with your favorite oil. For a sheet cake, line a 1" sheet tray with baking parchment paper. For cupcakes, set cupcake liners in your tins, and set aside.

Combine the Hungry Harry's Chocolate Cake mix, eggs or egg replacers, milk, oil, and vanilla.

Mix well until combined.

Pour the cake batter into your mold of choice.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Cool before frosting or decorating. Dig in!
